SEAN FERRY is a bilingual multimedia storyteller (English/Spanish) who works comfortably in commercial, corporate and documentary environments.
Sean's professional interests began at an early age. He took a photography course and learned the art of telling stories with pictures. Much later, having studied journalism in Colombia, South America, his investigation of its urban network helped sharpen his communication skills. And as a musician, he understands the rhythm needed to create compelling media.
Sean's career in production started at Macy's Satellite Network, where he learned the fine art of live broadcasts and field shoots. Having evolved to a Producer/Director at Macy's, Sean was looking to diversify his project experience. He left Macy's to focus on video prototyping at the world renown design firm, IDEO. With his varied experience, he began to freelancing in the San Francisco Bay Area, helping create online content for Sony and exploring web-based media with MONO; telling short stories about the daily life of musicians.
In 2006 he shot co-directed and edited the Colombian documentary "Sanpachando" which won "Best Documentary" at the St. Louis Filmmakers' Showcase. He is currently working on "Cultural Samurai", which speaks to the art of Zen and a life lived by the sword.
He now lives in New York City working with Fahrenhiet-212 developing innovation strategies and still looking for a good burrito.
